Bio
Dr. Robert Rametti is an educational leader with nearly two decades of experience in urban school districts across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He currently serves as Chief Academic Officer at Boston Prep Charter Public School in Boston, where his leadership has driven meaningful gains in student achievement, including a six percentage point increase in the school's state accountability ranking between 2023 and 2025.

Dr. Rametti grew up in Trenton, NJ. Through the support of a local nonprofit, SEEDS–Access Changes Everything, he had the opportunity to attend a highly regarded independent secondary school, an experience that fundamentally transformed the trajectory of his life. While he remains deeply grateful for those opportunities, his path gave him an abiding belief in the power and responsibility of public education: no child's future should depend on chance.

That conviction has shaped his entire career. Dr. Rametti has dedicated himself to serving students, families, and educators with an unwavering focus on equity. His work spans instructional coaching, curriculum development and review, rigorous assessment design, teacher team development, and cultivating student agency and a strong school culture. He began his career as an English Language Arts teacher, working across inclusion, honors, and Advanced Placement settings. As a National Board Certified teacher, he brought careful attention to the individual needs of each student, differentiating instruction and making challenging content accessible to all learners.

Dr. Rametti holds a doctorate in PK–12 Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Boston University, where his research explored culturally responsive teaching and how schools can leverage professional learning to build more inclusive and equitable environments for students and educators alike.

Outside of work, Rob can be found exploring new restaurants, getting lost in a good murder mystery, keeping up with his rambunctious (and irresistible) pug, Ramses, or obsessively tracking flight deals in pursuit of his next great adventure.
